Fani Willis has Made History in Fulton County DA Office

Willis will Take Office as DA in January 2021

After the runoff election on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, Fani Willis will be the new district attorney of Fulton County. Incumbent Paul Howard was the first elected African American attorney in Georgia back in 1997. He was beaten by more than 45% points, which made way for Fani Willis to take over as the first African American woman to be elected as District Attorney in Fulton County.
